the Devil and Daniel Mouse

Do you have those things in your life where you’re never quite sure if they are real or just imagined? I had a dream shortly after Kurt Cobain died that the band was going to continue on with a 14-year-old blond boy as the lead singer. That never happened, right? The Devil & Daniel Mouse is one of those things. It exists! I don’t know why I think about it so much but never bothered to look it up before. And I don’t really know how I saw it as a kid — it was released in 1978. My foggy memories of it are more as a book than a cartoon — but its scary-ass message about the perils of fame (and deals with the devil) certainly stuck with me.
